Clinton’s Web of Deception is Unraveling. Benghazi Truth Surfaces

“What difference does it make at this point,” Hillary Clinton blurted out at a House Subcommittee hearing.

I remember thinking “did she really say that?” She was Secretary of State at the time. And it was her response to questions about inconsistencies in her “facts” about the Benghazi attack in Libya. Did she really have such disregard for the human lives she controlled? Clinton’s trite answer backfired.

“It matters to friends and families of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods,” said Eric Nordstrom when he testified the next day. All of these men died in the attack, a place Clinton was in charge of protecting. And now she doesn’t want to talk about it. Judicial Watch notes Nordstrom as one of three whistleblowers. He is a former regional security officer of the U.S. Mission in Libya. So, Clinton’s callous answer was personal to him. It’s not a surprise that he didn’t take it well. But he’s not alone.

The House Subcommittee in charge of investigating the attack didn’t accept her answer either. And they continue to push forward.

Evidence coming out shows Clinton’s in trouble. Her attempts to sway opinion by stabs at the GOP and saying Americans are confused isn’t working. Clinton’s defenses are melting in light of the truth. It looks like Clinton’s on a slow boat to prison.

House Select Committee on Benghazi is Tearing Down Clinton’s Lies Piece-by-Piece

The House picked Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) as Chair of the Committee. And they picked the right man. Gowdy was a federal prosecutor for six years. He’s won several awards for his stellar work. His steady search for evidence is paying off. Little by little, Gowdy’s shown that Clinton hasn’t told the truth and she’s cost Americans their lives.

He’s brought in facts that reveal Clinton’s shielded and destroyed documents that belonged to the government. Her actions show she’s hiding her potential guilt over the deaths in Benghazi. And Blumenthal emails show a conflict of interests. She failed to protect the Embassy while doing personal business in the region. All while acting as Secretary of State.

Gowdy Challenges the Media to Provide Better Oversight in Finding Answers

“You [the media] are supposed to provide oversight,” Gowdy told the press at a briefing on September 6, 2015. “That’s why you have special liberties and special protections.”

He then did something no one else has done. In a clear and concise message he explained why it matters.

He asked the press questions that he thought they should be asking. Though he spoke in questions, he actually told them why they should act. Gowdy said Ambassador Stevens should never have been in Benghazi at the time of his murder. As early as a year before Stevens talked about leaving because violence was escalating. He had been begging for help for months and even the days before he was killed.

No help came. Everyone else had left. We were the last flag standing even after the Red Cross had been bombed. Stevens was left there. Americans at the Embassy were left behind with no weapons or back-up.

The big question is why did Obama and Clinton fail to have military support at hand when both knew Benghazi was a powder keg about to blow up? What about the Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff? They didn’t find out about the attack until almost an hour after it happened. Why?

Gowdy is urging the media to use the power of the press to get answers because no one else has.

Clinton’s Personal Emails Are Intertwined in Problems Causing Benghazi Attack

Did Clinton withhold core information from superiors?

Under subpoena, Clinton’s lifelong friend and business associate Sidney Blumenthal, gave Congress proof that Clinton lied. He passed on key emails about Libya that she didn’t give to Congress. The State Department did not hand them over. Did she fail to give it to them? Will we ever know? If Clinton didn’t give it to other officials, her crime is even more serious than we thought. The emails had crucial information that impacted the fighting. Core points that could have made a difference in American lives and how we dealt with combat. There are too many to name all of them, but a few of the main ones include Clinton’s personal knowledge that:

  • Libyans were manipulating the oil and banking industry – threatening safety because they knew who was supporting them
  • Libyan rebels claimed NATO wasn’t doing enough and cried out for U.S. military assets
  • Collapsing region was turning to more “Sharia” (Islamic law) support [due to lack of U.S. support]

Clinton Shared Classified Benghazi Plans over Emails that May Have Helped Attackers

Judge Andrew Napolitano is Fox News’ Senior Judicial Correspondent. He said Clinton’s emails that were obtained from a lawsuit show sensitive, classified information about Benghazi. Clinton disclosed the location of French fighter jets during NATO Bombardment of Libya. She talked about how big the fly zones were. How many there were, where they were and the location of Ambassador Stevens. The FBI is now investigating to see if it was possible they were hacked.

Clinton claims that none of this was classified at the time. But experts aren’t buying. Richard Grenell is a spokesman to four U.S. Ambassadors to the U.N. “You can’t do your job at the State Department unless you’re dealing with classified information,” he said. “The Secretary of State can’t make policies without intel to make strategies and to reach out to other entities.”

Gowdy points out that months and months of emails are missing – many were from her trips to Benghazi. Some of those missing are at a time of Clinton’s famous picture holding her blackberry on a plane!

Embassies around the world would not know how to reach Clinton without a .gov account

“People who I sent emails to certainly knew how to reach me,” Clinton told NBC’s Andrea Mitchel on September 6, 2015. Grenell says that’s not good enough. “If her email was private that means embassy personnel around the world had no idea what her email was. So if there’s a crisis at an embassy, that’s a problem.”

It may explain why the President, the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff didn’t learn about the attack until almost an hour after it happened.

Clinton Sinks Deeper as Staff Runs for Cover

Under subpoena, we learned that Clinton did not protect the government’s interest. The staffer she hired to set up her server is Bryan Pagliano. He pleaded the 5th. But we know they had the server in several unsecured areas where lots of folks could get to it.

The National Review provided some light on what was said in testimony by those who did talk. Clinton’s closest staffer was Cheryl Mills. Under oath she swore that she didn’t know of anyone who destroyed documents. But then the truth came out. She said she was in charge of the emails, but didn’t do the work – more subpoenas are coming for sure.

Jake Sullivan was her policy guy. We learned the committee was looking to him for answers about the layout of the Embassy at the time.

Three Things You Can Do to Make a Difference

  1. The GOP is taking a beating by Dems accusing them for using this as a political play. Find your Congressperson on and contact them. Give them an “atta boy” if they’re helping. If they’re not or they’re Dems then tell them in light of new facts you hope they will be more open-minded.
  2. Share the information in your networks. New facts coming out are strong. Voters need to know!
  3. When it comes to bad things that happen in war or conflict, it takes its toll on Vets. Take this time to reach out to them. Visit a vet hospital or donate some clothes. Let them know we value them!
